Warm Up with a Good Book! Winter Reading Program for Adults & Teens
January 2-February 28
Cozy up and read this winter with our Winter Reading Challenge for Teens & Adults! Pick up a reading log from the Library and earn a raffle entry for every 10 hours you spend reading. Four prize baskets are up for grabs! Whether you like novels, audiobooks, or graphic novels, every hour counts.
Raffle tickets can be submitted at the Library for your choice of 4 different prize baskets.
Help the Library grow a community of readers with this parent-child book club for kids in grades 3-6 and their adult caregiver(s). In February, we'll discuss The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Please register adults and children separately.
Join us every Wednesday for a fun, one-hour after school program! Activities will rotate monthly. We’ll usually meet from 3:30-4:30 pm, but we’ll move it up to 1:30-2:30 pm on early dismissal days.
Join us for a fun-filled music and movement program designed for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Children will sing, dance, and move to a variety of exciting songs that engage their imaginations, enhance motor skills, and encourage social interaction.
Are you a cartoon fanatic? Join our Cartoon Club, a club for discussing cartoons instead of books! We’ll watch two episodes of a cartoon, and then discuss it in the same way a book club would. The cartoon we'll watch this month is Amphibia.
Calling all students in grades 6-12 who love to yap about anything and everything! The Library is hosting an after-hours powerpoint party for teens! You’ll have 30 minutes and free use of the library’s iPads to craft a brilliant slideshow presentation on the topic of your choice. Then, each participant will get 5 minutes to present their slideshow to a captive audience. Pizza and refreshments will be provided!
Grab your sweetheart, or your friend, and join us for a lighthearted evening of creativity and laughter! We’ll take on the viral Paint Your Partner challenge where you’ll paint a portrait of each other (no experience required). We’ll provide the supplies, snacks and mocktails. Just bring your sense of humor!
Explore new recipes, share cooking tips, and enjoy delicious food together! This book club is perfect for adults who enjoy cooking and sharing food together. All experience levels are welcome. Choose a recipe from the selected cookbook to make and share with the group. This month's cookbook is There's Always Room at the Table by Kaleb Wyse.
Connect with fellow book lovers! Join us at the Library on the second Tuesday of each month as we discuss that month’s great read. This month, come ready to discuss James by Percival Everett.
Buying a home can feel hard, but it doesn’t have to be! Join local real estate agent Kurtis Decker with eXp Realty and special guests to learn how the process works. Each class will cover a different step, from getting a loan to closing day. Ask questions, meet local experts, and feel ready to buy your first (or next) home.
